Postcard Writing Signup

About this action

Indivisible LRCA  2026 Voter Activation Project will include writing postcards to approximately 4,000 – 5,000 voters over the summer and into the fall. These postcards are intended to get voters to the polls by providing voter registration and voting help as well reasons to vote. We will provide “Volunteer Postcard Packets” with scripts, 20 postcards, and a list of 20 voter names and addresses — you decide yourself how many you write! Please sign up below to help give our voters a reason to show up at the polls in November!

Why You should Act

Research consistently shows that personal, handwritten outreach is one of the most effective ways to increase voter turnout, especially among infrequent voters. In local and state elections, where margins are razor-thin, even a 1-3% bump in turnout can change outcomes. Every postcard you write is a direct line to a real person who might otherwise sit this one out. Our goal is to collectively send out 5,000 postcards this election cycle, and your 20 postcards could be the difference between someone staying home and someone casting a ballot that shapes our community for years to come.
